Ok so I am back from the field today and it was much better then yesterday. I did not get as many cuts today as I did yesterday, but my toes are still a little sore. Climbing steep slopes can do that to you you know. Anyway I didn't even look at Gallium , but I looked at this little parasitic plant called Orobanche valida spp. valida , the common nakme is big rock broom rape. Its a tiny purple plant that is REALLY hard to find. But I enjoyed my time out in the field, and it was a nice change from databasing. Yucca whipplei and Quercus berberidifolia were seriously evil with me, and cut me up the most. :(
Ok I am tired now, I think I deserve a nap. Will write more tomorrow.

Holy Oh My God!!! I had a dream about a week ago that blogger had spell check and then what do you know, all of the sudden blogger has spell check. I must be psychic or something. But the thing is in my dreams everything was underlined red like in word but blogger doesn't have that. :( My posts will probably still have a bunch of mispellings because I will probably be to lazy to use spell check.
Anyhow it looks like I won't be having too much time to post. On monday I have this all day thing to go to for my internship, on tues and weds I am going out in the field to look at populations of Galium grande. That should be fun, I am looking forward to it. I might even get a tan too. :) Well anyway my week was good, the internship is good. I am tired so I think I will take a rest. who knows when I will be able to catch up on e-mails.

Guess what everybody, tomorrow is my Birthday!!! :) I love Birthdays mainly because I am a selfish kind of a girl and I love presents. So tomorrow is Naomi Day, yay!
But wait its actually Tracy and Naomi Day because its Tracy's Birthday too! Happy Birthday Tracy! :-)

I feel like I haven't written in a while so I figured I should write something today, even if I don't feel like it. I had a nice weekend. I got all kinds of birthday presents and stuff so it was nice. I got a watch because I am anal about time but never carry a watch with me so i have to constantly ask what time it is. So its a good idea to have my own watch. The main criteria I had for the watch is that it had to have numbers. I need numbers or else I get confused.
Today was also my first day on the internship. It was cool and the day went by fast. Hopefully it will be a good summer.

Today is Thursday which means tomorrow is Friday. If tomorrow is Friday then that means that it is almost Monday, which means I start my internship soon. This means that my little vacation is almost over, but it also means that I will be coming into a bit of money. But this most likely means that I will end up being in debt soon, because I am going to want to make a lot of purchases. This means that I will have a lot of things that I don't need which probably means I should spend my money more wisely which probably means I should stop spending money I don't have. w h a t   d o e s   i t   a ll   m e a n ...

I had a dream that blogger had spell check.

so I was down at Evelyn's blog, and she was talking about proms and what not and it got me thinking about my whole high school experience. You see I never went to the prom, and I don't exactly feel that there is a missing spot in my youth because of that. But i think one of the reasons I didn't go was that I just absolutly HATED the whole high school experince. While in high school I didn't realize how much I hated it. Its like i was enlightened by the whole university experience, that girls don't have to be cliquish and catty all the time and i could actually learn somethign in a class that I enjoy.So now that I look back and I don't think someone could pay me enough money to go back to high school. It was one of the most oppressive times of my life.
Now I wasn't teased or particularly unpopular or anything like that, in fact I was quite unnoticed in high school which was perfectly fine with me. But the whole atmosphere at my school in particular I think was bad. I didn't learn one thing throughout my whole time there expect that Chino California has the larges concentration of dairy cows in the world. Or at least it did when I went to high school. And there was a sense that the teachers could give a rats ass about you, because they were only there to try and graduate the students who were failing. It was just a place of complete boredom and apathy. Since i am not a social person I didn't even enjoy the social activites. I hated being a cheerleader but only did it because there was nothing else to do , and the only stupid sport I played was softball and that was only during the spring. So in short my whole high school experience sucked big time. I don't know how just thinking of proms brought that out of me, but it did. So i didn't go to the prom, I wasn't even asked. [sarcasm]boohoo, and I have been suffering ever since [/sarcasm]

what is up with the whole blogger template thing? When I went to edit my template it showed the basic template that blogger has and not mine, so what has happened? Is there just some current problem with blogger or soemthing, does anybody know?

I think I need to switch over to megabook, I just noticed that my gbook has a nasty little pop up which annoyed me. So I will work on that today. and when I get it done you can sign it to tell me how nice you think I am. :) I need praise people, I thrive on it, without it I feel like a talentless mediocrity.
How could I have forgotten to mention that I got the Amnesiac cd. What is wrong with me, I love it so much, not sure if I love it more then kid A but it is definitely up there. My favorite song is "I might be wrong". My nice boyfriend got me the cd because he is the coolest.
Oh yes and please don't forget my Brithday is in 8 days!!! :-) June 20th is the most important day of the year and don't you forget it. Your generosity is always welcomed. And who got me that Pearl Jam cd? Whoever you are I thank you so much, that was very sweet of you to do that. :) I haven't gotten it yet but while changing my whishlist I noticed it had been purchased. Thank you!

I start my internship on monday, so I will be working full time. I hope I can take this, I am afraid my lazy ass won't be able to hack it. I tend to want to take breaks every 15 min.
I got my plant anatomy grade today. Yay, I got an A. :) I put my project up, its more or less finished, but I still need to put up the literature cited. Hopefully I will get that done soon, but you can take a peak if you want. Its not the most stimulating thing to read in the world, but I am rather proud of some of the slides I got. Especially figure 8, that one took me forever to get a good slide of.
So anyway I am rather sleepy today, which isn't really news because I am always sleepy. But I think I need to take a nap now.

I have an update. I added some recipes which I like. So take a look at my cookbook.
I am a cooking enthusiast. Just watch me in one of those stores that sells cooking gadgets and you will freak at how insane I go. So anyway I put it up rather quickly so there are probably some spelling errors. I will proof read it tomorrow.

Final exams are over, and its seems like I don't really know what to do with myself now. Last night I was roaming around the house looking for somethign to do because I didn't have any homework. I am going to be adding more content to my page soon so that should keep me busy.
It looks like I got internship that I applied for. So I will be working 40 hours a week over the summer, but I get $3000, and some good experince out of it. I really like the place I work at. Its a good atmosphere with really nice people. And to think I was going to quit that place because I thought working at the aqarium would be better for me. I am glad I didn't.
Oh and I discoved that if you read ALL of the readme file when putting something like dotcomments on your page, it usually helps solve your problems. Reading the directions is always nice.

Well I did it again. I was studying for my last final exam when I heard a loud explosion come from the kitchen. I will not say how many times i have done this but it has happend a few times. I burned hard boil eggs, but this time one exploded. I will put the eggs on to boil and forget about them and the next thing you know all the water has evaporated and there are eggs sitting in a pan with high heat and the smell of burned egg shells. Its gross. To top it off I burned the counter when I set the hot pan on it. I hate to boil eggs. :(
